Worst comedian?

I watched [/i]The Wrong Guys[/i] last night, and was instantly reminded of how some comedians just aren't funny. One in particular has always made me wonder why people laugh: Richard Lewis. I see him basically complain and bitch in a style that is so fake that it is almost funny that people laugh...

By the way, the movie is only watchable for John Goodman...

I wouldn't say Lewis is *the worst*...

I reserve that spot for Bil Dwyer, Dat Phan and Dane Cook...

Oh, did I also mention he's not good looking.

Of course I don't like dane cook. He's Jerry Lewis without all the insight, he's charlie chaplin without all that genious.

So, basically, he's that guy in high school, using lines that have been done a million times, that are only funny to the dudes he have no sense of humor themselves and the chicks he's trying to lay.

Now, a comic that I don't particularly find amusing, but I'd do... Hal Sparks. Yep...Hal Sparks. I'd do him twice.

Comics that'd I'd do *and* are funny... Marc Maron, Greg Proops, Lord Carrett, Tom Rhodes...

I've got a weird sense of what's hot and not... based on popular standards.

Yeah man. I think he sux, yes, but if it weren't for him, Phan, and Cook, I never would have thought that I *could* go on stage. You're role models and idols inspire you, but they're fairly intimidating.

But you see hacks on tv and you're like... hell... I can do that.... but I can be funny!

I didn't used to like Richard Lewis until Curb Your Enthusiasm. Had no idea why Bob Costa was cracking up in their famous interview. If you ask me Howey Mandel has never uttered a funny word. Mugs so much for the camera he should have a handle on the side of his head...
