Did you guys hear about that movie thats coming out about the female Pope? I guess there was a lady pope back in the 1,500's from what I hear this movie is the gona shake up the Cathlic church big time. There having shit fits over this flick coming out.

astonamous, yeah I'm more looking forward to this movie then anything..growing up on the wrong side of the tracks I used to escape the world through these books as a kid..and a female pope? I guess that explains why they wear dresses and those big bonnets

Never read and was kind of excited about seing the flick until today when someone told me that it had alot of religious symbolism. Hey don't get me wrong some would say that Star Wars had the same type of symbolism but the same guy that pointed this out to me also voted for Bush based on his religous beliefs.....Argggh!!

Probably still see it but that left a bad taste in my mouth....

bingolong, it's true it does have some, but doesn't shove it down your throat too much..besides that the story of a god dying and being reserected is a old myth going all the way back to Acient Egypt and the god Osirus
