Richard's Love for People

Hello All,
I have a wonderfull R.P. story.Around 1985 R.P. shot "JoJo Dancer" in his hometown of Peoria.I was a Photographer covering it for a magazine.The love that Richard displayed for P-Town (Peoria) during filming was amazing.People would shout out during filming, hey Richard its me *&^%@ Richard would yell cut and go over and chat.The local people were so excited to have their son back home, they could not contain themselves.Richard would stop production many times a day to show love.He hired locals,used local services and ran production overtime to bless the local economy.Whites,Blacks,Old Friends,Folks mentioned in His Albums even haters were on hand day in and out showing Love.
Many who worked on that Movie are making it today Paul Mooney,Ruben Cannon,Ramon Hervey and many more...God Bless you Richard!Live on and Strong! ..I feel Honored because I too, got my first break also from Erma Davis at Carver Center, Peoria...Peace
