I've written this in my registry but would like to say again that I am from the Navajo tribe and and live in Kayenta,Az, which is about 18 miles from the famous Monument Valley, where mostly all the westerns are filmed with the mitten buttes in the background. It is a part of the Navajo Nation. I enjoy humor and you Mr. Pryor have done that and you being you is a blessing to all. The first time remember seeing you is when I visited to my maternal grandparents and they were watching Stir Crazy. My parents also also decideed to watch and we all were laughing. This is something I've waited awhile to do but have finally joined and It feels great. I reedited my post because the last time I tried postig I had to rush because I was writing it while in school.
I would like to barrow a quote of a great wrestler, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, which fits well with Mr. Pryor who is...
" The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be!"

Jenny and blumustard,
TOO ALL,
It is great to be apart of this Richard Pryor site family. Thank you for your welcoming, and I hope to get to know you all. Took me awhile to join because I wasn't to sure if there would be an age verification that would permit me from becoming a member, guess I didn't want to gamble it, but I've joined now and that's all there is.
My influence to coming to here was about I guess a year and half ago. I had to really wanted to watch some of Mr. Pryor's standup for some reason, it just came to mind out of nowhere, I have to, no I defienitly must laugh and I knew who to go to. So I went to the local video store and I knew there were three of Mr. Pryor's standups,Live In Concert, Live on the Sunset Strip, Here and Now,. So I rented two because Sunset wasn't there. Man did I laugh, that was my first time I had seen those two. Before that I had just remembered him from the great movies he's done and heard his standup but haven't seen it, him preforming it. Man was I amazed and just knocked to the floor by his performance.
So after awhile I searched Amazon for more of his stand up and found them all, this was a little ways from when The Richard Pryor Show was going to be released, and I bought that a couple days after its release, but a little before that I was on the net one day and I was stomped on what I could look up. So I wondered maybe there may be a site for Mr. Pryor and I typed www.richardpryor.com and...by accessing this site you confirm that you are over (18) years of age and not offended by foul language of any kind I AGREE I DON'T AGREE... I wasn't offended by foul languge, may not have been 18, but I didn't want to wait a year and a half,I AGREE. I have been a constant visitor ever since, not in the visitor forum just a regular vistor. Looked at what's on the site and of course the forum. You are some funny people, great group. May have been wrong but it was and still is worth it to be in a place for the one and only Richard Pryor. So I leave with this...
...I should and will get on my knees, pray, and thank GOD for blessing us all with Richard Pryor. PEACE OUT!!!

bcddjjsc690 and Everybody,
I couldn't get the clip because I don't have real player, but when you said it was something from The Richard Pryor Show I had a feeling it had to do Charlie Hill seeing how I introduced myself. A part my culture is to introduce yourself.
When tourist come expecting to see my people still living like their fictional view of " Indians ", where ever they get their thoughts from; the movies, history books, or whatever, they’d be surprise when I greet them, and as Charlie Hill explained in his performance they expected to hear us speak Indian, the slow deep sounding voice. Then telling us they're part Native, which famously is always Cherokee, and that they're great great somebody was an " Indian Princess " which all tribes know there never was or is such a thing. That was explained by Charlie Hill on one of the Thanksgiving episodes of Roseanne where Charlie Hill guessed starred as a teacher.
Charlie Hill is a very funny comedian, he hits very close to home. Yes he still does perform, he usually performs all over the reservations in America, as for outside the Rez, definitely. I hope you get this link and know more about Charlie Hill. Also don't just overlook them because you don't have the brand media player or the patiance, because you'll miss out on a lot.
As for the title changing, I had to get you guys attention. Also I to throw in some [/i]Napoleon Dynamite[/i]. All right, see ya later and as always PEACE OUT!
You might need a Macromedia Flash Player for the Charlie Hill Website link but if don't want to download it don't pass up on the site.http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/dow ... kwaveFlash - Macromedia Flash Player'
http://www.clubredwithcharliehill.com/ - Charlie Hill Website'
You might also need Real Video Player for the links below but it'll have a link to a Real Video Player on the top right corner of the site where it says download area.
http://www.nativetelecom.org/realmedia/ ... index.html - Charlie Hill's stand-up performances, interviews, and information on a documentary he did on Native issues and stereotyping (mascots)'
Also when check it out say what thought of him, the sites, and the imformation about him. And also have you heard of him before.
Oh yeah, if your having any problems with the link above just type this address.
