I just wanted to take a moment to thank the man in charge, Mr. Pryor for giving me much joy over the years with his magic. My mother is a huge fan of yours and I know one of the highlights of her turbulent life was getting to see you perform back in 1979 during the "Live in concert" tour. She got lucky and got front row seats and saw you up close and personal. It was truly a bright spot in our lives, I was about 9 years old then and I first saw you on Saturday Night Live and from then on it was cracking! I remember at twelve actually sneaking off and buying the "Live On Sunset Strip" album and playing it to no end! Actually memorizing some of the routines! It made me grow up real fast ! You just were always a joy to watch and I just went out and bought the DVD set of the "Richard Pryor Show" and it only confirms your brilliance once again. "Chappelle's Show" is the hot thing on TV right now and it is truly an "intelligent" comedy show, but your show was as good if not better and I was amazed at how topical most of that stuff still is. Just years ahead of it's time. "Star Wars Bar" is just ridiculously funny in poking fun at the Star Wars phenom. It also showed your clout at the time because those were the actual masks from the film and I'm sure George Lucas would never be that open with his props today. It was just really great and enjoyable to see you go at it in your prime and I just want to thank you for such fond memories. And thank you Jennifer for making this website possible to be able to communicate with you guys.
