New Starwars Trilogy Box Set

Hey Bingolong and other Starwars fans and ubergeeks....

I just had a question bout the box set, is it the three original movies with beefed up sound or is it that cgi crap for the new kids, and where can i find the three original movies without all the George Lucas is loosin his fuckin mind special nu skool special effects on it. I loved those movies, but I don't wanna look at new stuff, I want the old movies. Let me know when you get a chance....thank you all.

the box set is a NEWER version of the trilogy!! Even more than the 97 Special Releases!! Lucas added a bit more to these, if u didnt like the 97 ones u wont like these at all!!

As 4 the "original" theoretically, u will never c them again!! there r however, some bootleg dvd's floating around that r the originals from back in the day! (no cgi)
lucas has stated the new box is the final vision of how his movies should be!!

dont think about not getting the new set, tho. the 4th bonus discc is truelly worth the price!!!

yeah I don't have kids, so there is no need for me to buy it if it has all that new stuff on there. Now i don't mind if the Sound and shit is beefed up, cause that is all ways good like when all the bad guys get blowed up at the end....that would be dope. But....well i will probably just visit the site and see. But let me know if you check it out.

Yeah, I was like, "why isn't this in the Star Wars thread?"
But it's cool, though. You can never have enough Star Wars in your life. ;p I have the O-OT box set on VHS that came out in '95. That's as far I go on them. I would say go to Ebay, but I'm not gonna encourage buying bootleg shit. The new DVD's are puzzling a bit, becuase they're still not really finished (bad lightsaber effects, etc.) These are not the mega release by any stretch, but they're worth it, if for no other reason, the picture clean-up is amazing and you can bounce around to your fav parts without the hassle of dealing with tape. Check em out.
