One of my favorite lines:
pg#391 "I like to see the clean green paths of carpet
emerge from a field of dog hair, Milkbone
crumbs, and down pillow feathers."
pg#392 "I...fixed the machine. Voila! I'm making
clean green paths again!"
I picture Jennifer vaccuming, and doing a little dance
when, BANG, the machine breaks. Jennifer throws a 'mad
fit', fixes the machine, and suddenly, order returns.
She resumes both task, and 'boogaloo' to the other side
of the room.

I know that I'm ready for it!!!!!!

I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!
Re: Jenny's Book
Jennifer, and Bingolong,
What I like about these lines is the idea of all the 'un-
controllables', and 'helplessnesses' that disappear for a
moment, an instant; and we can feel in control, capable,
and altogether in charge (even if it is only a little while).
