nascar83zp,
I feel sorry for the people back in Michigan. I was once one of you, enslaved by a piece of metal, plastic and rubber. If someone scratches it in a parking lot you are ready to take their life. Without it, you feel helpless...
I no longer own a vehicle. I am free from the constraints of "Where did I park?" Free from worrying about the possibility that someone could break into it. Free from having to purchase gas. Free from insurance companies. Free from doing all of the shit that automobiles require. I now have a life, and if I never had to get into a car again I wouldn't care!
Sorry to hear about your dependency on your truck. Remember, 20 years from now it'll be a pile of junk!
By the way, when I am forced to drive (like when I visit Detroit) I am the asshole doing 5 miles under the speed limit that really pisses you off. Guess what? I do it partially [/i]because[/i] it gets you so pissed you look like you're gonna have a stroke!!!
