Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're dropping names on me that I really don't know. I know Simon because he's angry and british...I forgot Paula was on there until two nights ago when I saw her on leno (with Wanda Sykes...damn she's funny!).

I took my advice a looong time ago. American Idol is on my axis of evil..

You're right Luke Dogg, theres a divide in hip hop now. You have the bubble gum bullshit on one side that goes hand in hand with the mindless Little Jon club booty shaking, and the equally superfluous materialism/i'ma kill you rap. On the other side you have the true essence of the hip hop spirit: Dialated Peeps, Dead Prez, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, The Roots, and even Kanye and Eminem sometimes exhibit these charateristics. What has happened is everyone has copied Rakim, 2Pac, B.I.G., Big Daddy Kane, Jigga and NWA but have come with a platforms that are waterdowned and lack the insight and innovation those artists possessed. Big up to the King KRS 1 (Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everybody. It's sad to see the mass marketing and commodification of a culture you and I hold so dear.

I agreed alot with both of your points so I looked at both of your profiles and saw that you two were both DJ's from the Denver,Colorado area. But I didn't see any thing about the titty bar on there......but I see that we all three have that in common!!!!

That's too cynical to say people don't care about talent these days-much too cynical but I think seriously, it was racism and I have said this from the start. I refuse to watch that piece of crap show anymore-after Jennifer was eliminated, and the black girls were all in the bottom three-I mean, "Ray CHarels could see that!"
If Fantasia get's eliminated-well, it's just a completion of their agenda.
