INSIDE MAN...SPIKE'S FIRST HIT..BOUT TIME!!

Saw the Inside Man twice this past week (Yes I suport my fellow Black filmmakers..espically if it's a really good flick) ...and this is a really good flick. Bout time Spike did something commerical and it payed off big time at the box office...I was a bit worried about him as a filmmaker...espically after seeing that ultmate trash..SHE HATE ME.

what was wrong w/She Hate Me? that was a classic and realistic movie. actually it was one of the first Spike Lee movies I could not get into.

SHE HATE ME....Garbage!!! I think that little fiasco snapped his ass back into shape before he got to a place where the studios would stop messing with him. I think that's what it was coming to. That is why he went back to Universal (where all his hit movies were made in his hey day) with a bonafide star (Denzel) and did something "safe".

Yeah peeped it yesterday.....Still had Spike in it but he didn't let his style overshadow the movie....Good Flick!!

Good movie, I hate Russell Crowe's deadpan monotone acting style, but Clive Owen seems to pull it off much better.
