DON ADAMS
Most remembered for playing Agent 86 Maxwell Smart on TV's Get Smart. As a kid I loved the opening sequence of Him going thru all the doors , and the different ways they opened. And another great 60's TV show theme song.Un-mistakable.
When being held captive by the evil k.a.o.s. , Smart would always feign a spectacular rescue, taunting His captors with the likes of...."You are currently surrounded by the 82nd Airborne's Elite Division , they should be busting in to rescue us (Him and 99) at any precise moment.....like right now .............
..Would you believe a Webloes Cub Scout Group , .. http://msnbc.msn.com/id/9493390/ - RIP Don Adams'
And who could forget the voice of [/i]Tennesee Tuxedo[/i]
bcddjjsc690,
I will miss him.......I like the part of when someone would say ...."you would be in much danger"....an he would say...."and lovin every minute of it"....
I've got vague childhood memories of this program. I remember him walking through all the doors and didn't he have a dial-phone in his shoe.....or am I confusing him with Inspector Gadget!
But I do recall watching it as a little kid in Jackson Heights with older folks and everyone was laughing.
I wonder if the series is out on DVD, it'd be interesting to see it again.
Mister Gee,
oh....uh....yeah.......ok......I like barely remember that too....yeah he had a phone in his shoe....an it would ring an people at bus stops or wherever they were at ....would look at his shoe an say....."hey, your shoe is ringing"..
bcddjjsc690,
well he asked me.......and yeah I remember that one too....he would say don't tell me that....an when someone did......He would say that......."I told you not to tell me that"...
