Harlem Nights
Harlem Nights ran on the movie channel a few days ago and I was reminded of what I thought when I first saw it: what a gem! Not only is it entertaining, but it is a collectors item, as Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall and Robin Harris are in it. Hmm??? Me thinks this was the original "Kings of Comedy" film... It's a real collectible.

Appaloosa,
Harlem Nights is at its best when it isn't focused on Eddie... which is far too often.
The thing that pisases me off though is the crash scene. It takes place at the intercection of Lenox & 110th. In the film it is a 4 way cross street. 110th street has been the northern border of Central Park since before Harlem was even developed. Due to this, Lenox Ave ends at 110th St.

JTF,
yeah I noticed that ....for some reason it seemed to focus on Murphy.......but it was loaded with stars....I like the fight in the alley between Eddie an what's her name....I can't think of her....it seemed like Eddie was the star but it had a few people in it that were way bigger than him...
