there were so many fun times I had with my childhood best friends, one of whom recently passed away, where we'd sneak LP's away from our parents and just play them over and over with never ending laughter. Richard Pryor gave me the ability to laugh and smile while being raised in a very horrific dysfunctional situation. that continual laughter helped break down barriers of fear about others (as in "hey, nobody's perfect or better") and learn to deal with what you have the best way you can, instead of allowing the situation to control you.
