Ive been lurking here for awhile and decided to finally take the plunge and post.
Why do I love Richard? I'd like to say it's because he taught a white guy born in the segregated south of the late 1950s that we're really all the same, but he didn't -- another cat named Dick Gregory did that.
What Rich did was teach me to laugh at the ignorance that surrounded us around here. It still exists, of course, in many places, but I'm still laughing at it...thanks to a genius named Richard Pryor.
