four white boys in Mississippi in 1976. cousins, just to reinforce the cracker stereotype. we couldn't go to the store & come home with the record and not get shit about it from the parents, so we got the 8-track tapes. we drive around and crank it up just like we were listening to Deep Purple or something and laugh till we choke. next day we go back to high school and when we're passing each other in the hall we can say things to each other like, "And the PISS TURNED BLUE!" and crack each other up. listened to 'em all over and over.
helped me grow up, keep a sense of humor, not be racist like other people in my family. thank you Mr. Pryor.
