Why Richard was ahead and why he still on top.

In a world where so much bullshit is always thrown around and you never really know who or what to believe, Richard is always there. I am 26, and grew up with some comedians and thought they were funny. But, I remember in the days of Napster I decided to type "comedy" in the search option and richard pryor came up. To my surprise , it had bunches of sources and that meant he was popular; but my young ass had no clue who Richard Pryor was. It only took 5 minutes and I had to go out and get more. The part that I think about Richard is how true he is , he is real, he always brought his personal life into his comedy and made us feel human; unlike most people that make us feel like we are the only ones that fuck up. The other thing that really impressed me and I love about Rich is how he interacted with the audience, I have not seen until this day and I have seen plenty of comedy. I mean I think people had to really think about shit before going to his shows, what to wear , what to do , what to say.. because if he heard you , he'd probably get on your ass. All this bullshit to just ask if some people do what I do sometimes.. A lot of nights when I am either bored, bad mood, bad day, etc.. I pop in a Richard Pryor DVD , chill , relax.. laugh my ass off and completely forget about shit and completely get in a good mood!! I just wonder if anybody else does or has done this . And in case Richard reads this, I just wanted to say Thank you and hope that you realize this and know that your work and life made, makes and will always make a difference. Sincerely, Los

P.S-> I have all Richard Pryor DVD's and purchased them. Because unlike most artists today , ALL HIS SHIT is good. I refuse to pay for one good song or one good joke $20. I bought Richard's DVD's as soon as I had the chance and the money to do it. As I'd like to think most people that really appreciate an Artist do.
