My two cents...
I remember watching the Oscars as a shorty and seeing Eddie Murpy state his opinion on how Blacks were being over looked. Murphy was banned from the Oscars because of his statement. Because of Rock's ties to Murphy, I wonder if he'll make any reference to that. Probably not, but I think it's a great moment you ban a guy and almost 20 years later, his protege' is hosting your party.

I'll watch it when they give a lifetime acheivment award to Chris Elliot!

Yeah Chris Elliot is long overdue for movies like Cabin Boy and his hit TV show "Get A Life"!!!

But you know what these will probably be the Oscars I watch in it's entirety thanks to the Rock!!He was telling the truth and now I want to not only see his take on the Oscars but see how he rides this little controversy.

You can bet...it's got nothing to do with that...it's all about ratings...Murphy star was on the wane for years...Chris is hot now...they're trying to get the youth and hip-hop demo...

JUST TO CLARIFY: Chris Rock appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and responding to the controversy created when he said in an interview that straight men don't watch the Oscars. "I did not say that. I said only gay people watch the Tonys," Rock joked.
