Looking for weapons of mass distruction

Post by KMommy »

SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea triggered an avalanche of international criticism Thursday when it boasted for the first time that it had nuclear weapons and rejected moves to restart disarmament talks any time soon.

Using a flip Western expression for such weapons, the government said in an English-language statement carried by the state-run Korean Central News Agency: “We ... have manufactured nukes for self-defense to cope with the Bush administration’s evermore undisguised policy to isolate and stifle the [North].”

Feb. 10: Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld called North Korea a “worrisome threat,” while others in the Bush administration downplayed Pyongyang’s statement, saying they had long assumed it had some form of nuclear weapon. NBC’s Bob Kur reports.

"Long assumed it had them" ??? So why isn't Bush attacking them? He starts a war with those don't have them in search of weapons of mass distruction. You know we all say fuck Bush but in the end he is the one that's fucking us!

KMommy,

It's an age old bully policy. Pick on the kid/country that is just big enough to make others think you're tough but poses no real threat. If you try to bully the kid/country that can punch back you just might get knocked on your ass and lose an election... I mean respect. ]:o(
