I think it's awesome he's fighting it. The dumbing down of ideas and people is the worstest thing. I found this story through a thread about it on aspecialthing.com, a Tenacious D/Mr.Show messageboard. What do you guys think?

I feel for Chappelle he's trying to give the people something honest and they just want to hear "I'm Rick James Bitch" And we wonder why 2 thirds of the world wants us dead!

The dumbing down of our country is getting out of hand were falling right into the Right wings hands and they can't be any happer about it. We need change we need to break this cycle.

Dave Chappelle is by far the nicest celebrity I've ever met. When I was interning, the man took a half hour to just talk to me about my goals and aspirations. I wasn't shit from shinola to him but he was so genuine and endearing. The man left an everlasting impression upon me. I can understand his frustration but I guess it comes with being a pop culture icon...

Oh but the Mufucka stole his Lil Jon skit from me!!!! I can't prove it of course but it happened!!!!!!! This was when his show was still in development, I had told him how Lil Jon had called the Radio station to do some drops for us, and at first he was very soft spoken and articulate like "Hello, it's a pleasure to make your aquaintance" and then he jumped into character did his ingnant thing, then when he was done, he became the articulate businessman again. Chapelle though it was hilarious. I just wish I could prove the mufucka stole it from me!!!!!!
