Don't ask me why I have been on this wab site for almost two monthes and just now looked at the photo gallery. I am always at the board instead. Anyway I saw the celebrity pictures, Roseanne in particular. Can I just say that I NEVER watched her show when it originally aired. My wife got me watching it a couple of monthes ago and may I say I am obsessed with this show now. We fall asleep every night watching Roseanne on nick at nite. I love how there house isn't perfect and they are blue-collar and have troubles, either financial or personal. She can shit talk her family but you know she still loves them. Anyone else watch this show or have an opinion?

Yes I also love the show-especially the first 8 years of it-Rosie kinda lost her mind during that last year but I think every artistic genius has a breakdown at some point

I was SO happy to see her make the top ten in the Greatest Comedians of ALL time list! She deserved it VERY much and was the ONLY female in the top ten

You know she only had 4 years under her belt when landed an appearance on [/i]The Tonight Show[/i] Alot of people in the business felt she was way TOO green (meaning too new of a comic) they felt she didn't deserve a Tonight Show set but as we all saw she made the most of it-she didn't take that golden opportunity lightly, instead she went on and KICKED fucking ASS!!! This is an excellent example of someone who's considered too "green" STILL being able to hold their own with the best of em.

Roseanne may have been "green" in terms of stagetime but she knew exactly WHO she was-so she didn't have to take the 7 plus years it usually takes a comic to "find their voice" You could hear Roseanne's LOUD and CLEAR!

THANKS for starting this thread, this Queen of Comedy had yet to be discussed here in the comics and comedy forum

And before I forget again, Congratulations on your recent marriage!!! May you and your lady have many, many years of happiness
