When will it end?

This is not for relpies. I am using this as a way to get this off my chest because I know it will be welcomed here. I am trembling as I type so it might come out with errors.
I have heard what happened to Nicholas Berg, but didn't have a real grasp on the tragedy. Today I saw still photos of the brutal massacre and I am doing the best I can to stop from crying. I am not a political person and I have seen alot of debates going on and I really haven't posted cause I really don't have any reason to say when I don't know the issues.
The Berg murder on live television is something that we as people think only happens in the movies. In Bamboozled, the main character is murdered before a live audience and in 15 miniutes, Deniro's character is taped being killed and shown on television. I like and enjoyed both of these films and I am not saying art imitates life, what I am saying is I never thought a human being would go so far as to behead another one of God's creatures in this mordern day.
I am honestly afraid and sick to my stomach and I wish the Berg family all of the Lord's blessings in their time of hurt.
Why do we live in a world where one side thinks they are justified and righteous in committing terrible acts against mankind and in return the other side feels the same of their own actions? It's like churches claiming the other is going to Hell.
I am sorry for rambling on, but I have to speak my peace because I am ashamed and saddened that such an act would even be remotely true.
