This is Marvin's jaw-dropping performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" at the 1983 NBA All-Star game--only a year before his tragic death. Other than Jimi Hendrix's, it's the only version of that song that has ever moved me...

Man did this make my day! Miss both of them & wonder what music they might have created if their lives hadn't been cut so short. Oh well, we were blessed to have them here at all!
