Canadian soldier dies in Afghanistan today. wow, I guess it's true, Canada has joined the coalition forces in Iraq

which means w/their new right-wing leader, policies from the U.S. will be filtering on to Canada as well. scary thought.

I need to get my friend Laurie from Canada over here. the recent election was heated. and I never heard so many french and english cuss words when the conservative was elected.

she also lives near a military base and many are pissed that the new conservative leader is throwing his hat into the Iraq rink. thought it was just election talk, but I guess not.

the sad part is all those who migrated to Canada to escape the Iraq war are now right back in the thick of it.

I know what ya mean eh. I just hope the pot laws don't change eh. but have a feeling they will.
