I saw the film "A History of Violence" at the weekend. For me it was one of those films where the trailer for it was the hook. I saw the trailer and said "I gotta see this shit!".

I think that the story is a very interesting one, but for me, it just didn't come together on screen. it reminded me a of "Unforgiven" a little bit, except that was a classic.

I'll call it as an "average"

Peace gee

bumperhead,

I should've guessed, I bet that the comic-book is better than the movie. But I liked Ed Harris though.

peace gee

bumperhead,

The only thing worse than comic book films are video game films. Oh, and remakes.

Saw the film a few weeks ago. Okay film, simple plot really about revenge and redemption. Personally, I thought it would be better with more of a clever twist at the end, although the part where the son shot the gangster kind of suprised me but the part where William Hurt goes on and on at Viggo Mortensen's character took forever and was boring and unoriginal. I think more went into the filming the gore after the characters were shot in their faces then the story and the script. Ed Harris was good though.
