I guess that's David Cross and his bald head in that one photo. I've been dying laughing at Cross's album, 'Shut up you fucking baby'. I love the part about the US bombing Afghanistan, and then dropping pudding cups on the country, that look just like the bombs. Limbless orphans screaming 'I love america, thanks for your delicious puddings!!'

Oh yeah, don't miss Nick's http://homepage.mac.com/version/index.html - webpage.'
I don't know if he wants me to post that, but I'm posting it.

Much love to everyone!

cbreez0101, as long as I'm Charles it's cool. I had an awesome time in NY. As you can see, I squinted alot. And yes, I got to meet David Cross as well, which was pretty sweetly cool. He was very nice. Unfortunately I missed his set the night he played, but apparently it was rad. The guy I opened for was Neil Hamburger, and he was super cool and put on a great show as only he can. I loved being there, mostly because I was drunk(after the show!). I can't thank the Pryors enough for encouraging me about the show too. I can't wait to go back and be drunk in the Windy Apple again! Oh, and as for my website--I should warn yall that some of the MP3s are of the utmost shoddiness, and it's all a year old or older. Also, my comedy is...odd. I'm still somewhat self conscious about it. Whatever the case, I write what makes me laugh.
And FYI, I refuse to sell my airbrushed Axl Rose 'Stop Crucifying Me' shirt, unless you're willing to marry me into royalty in exchange for the aforementioned shirt. Oh, and I should also mention that female with me in a couple of shots was my hostess for the trip, the lovely Elizabeth Mann, who also is the one who took the photos. She's rad!

smjmcomic, yeah, Hamburger definitely has a special comedy spot in the depths of my heart; he's ridiculous but hilarious. And at this point he's actually got quite an extensive discography too. Here's his "unofficial" website:http://neilhamburger.tvheaven.com/
And I'm actually more of a pathetic wannabe hipster than a dork. Or are those two titles synonymous?

NickFlanagan,

I'm so happy to see you had a good time while you were here. Please tell us more about the show-who else was in the line up? Where was the venue? How did you get booked for the gig etc.

I also want to tell you that I love reading your posts you seem to be a very mature 23 year old ;)

SweetLuchia, the show was last thursday the 15th of April at Piano's, and the lineup was me at 8, and Neil Hamburger at 9. My set was 20, 25 minutes--close enough to my half hour goal that I'm not gonna complain. I got the show because my best friend loves my shit and also works with Hamburger, so he decided to go for it, much to my thankfulness.

The setup couldn't have been better, because the two-person bill and ten buck price-tag led to an attentiveness on the crowd's part that I may have lost otherwise. I didn't cut back on the stupid darkness of a lot of my material, but mostly the crowd seemed into it and I neither showed up nor veered too similarly to Hamburger's style, which made me happy, because the latter was a bit of a worry. Such a blast was had by me.
Luchia, that's very nice of you to say that about my posts, but I'm definitely not supremely mature. Like many others, I only try to add the best I can to this site! And I'm actually 24 now. Just had a birthday on monday. I love reading your posts too, and most others on the website.
By the way, the New Yorker this week is the humor issue, and it seems to have some really good articles in there. Once I read more I may start a thread bout it. Rock on yall! ):)
