Very incredible.
Now I have to try to find them.

"Triumph of the underdog" 1998 by Don McGlynn
(See Charles being thrown out of his appartment while shootin' a hole in a wall:lol: )

"Transit Ostend" 1981 by Richard Oliver
(Marvin stayed in Belgium to kick his coke habbit..this is where he wrote sexual healing..see him in a local Belgium Bar..That scene in 48 hours when Eddy goes into a redneck bar ain't shit if you see this:lol: )

"Lost in La Mancha" by Keith Folten 2002
(After you see this you don't wanna make films in Hollywood or Europe...it was on TV last week)

I remeber hearing about the Terry Gilliam doc awhile ago but never got to see it.It had Depp in it too.

Yes it's The famous Don Quichote de La Mancha story starring Jonny Depp and his girlfriend Vanessa Paradie.
Worth seeing big time!
Orson Welles tried to film it too!

I think that I've seen that Marvin Gaye one ages ago. It's sort of like a documentary right? I remember it showed him working out and getting fit again, cleaning the drugs out of his system. He was really chilling in that tiny village. Then when "Sexual Healing" became such a huge hit, the record company wanted him to go on tour again, that brought back the drugs and the craziness which inevitably led to the tragedy

Yeah, I saw the Ostend doc on A&E Biography about ten years ago.
I believe that's the one where the Belgians showed him mad love when he was in concert. It was weird seeing that at first because it was like all white people and they were loving this one black man. No barriers, no hang-ups. Just appreciation of the man's talent. Two little girls even came up on stage with flowers for him. Trippy stuff! ;p

yeah i think it's sad that Marvin Gaye left home cause of his fathers abuse.....at 14 I think.....an went on to become a world renowned singer....he was a real talent.....only to go home and have this done to him.........his father sounded like a real control freak to me......just what I read though...
