Hi bingo!!
Thank God you keep the spirit alive in your music!! B-) :)

Yeah..lol..It was a damn trip to see Snoop talkin Dutch...but it happens alot..maybe he needed the money..lol
I heard that Michael Caine played in Jaws 4 just to pay off his house..lol..He hated the film..
The other guy in the commercial is like the Perry Como of Holland..

*I'm listening to Oldschool stuff alot..Parliament of funk,Funkadelic,Bootsy Collins,Sly and the family stone.
Man..they were already rappin and hip hoppin bigtime.
I heard that one of the oldest forms of rap is from Brazil:
Samba de coco...It's a little beat with street lyrics. It was damn cool.
One rap was like:My gringo friend..You can crash at my house..have all the beer you want..but don't touch my woman..lol

blumustard,
Oh no I didn't take it like that....it is just wild to know that the music is world wide like this!!!

Just a few minutes ago me and my partner I do music with were on the phone talking about art vs. commerce and how music was back in the day(.........it's everywhere now but it will never be like it was in our early adolesence.....)It got so deep I started searching the net for a Videotape from 1989 called "Fight The Power Live" by P.E.!!

We were saying to ourselves that last two conerts we went to was The Smoking Grooves Concert in 1996 8-o with A Tribe Called Quest,The Fugees,Cypress Hill,Nas,& Busta Rhymes!!The last time it felt innocent to us.....

.....that is until we finally got to see Run-DMC again since the 80's in 2001 (I've got the signed T-Shirt to prove it.We were up front and the group was shocked that we knew there routine by heart!!!We got to talk with Jam Master Jay after the set and his was very down to earth to be a member of hip-hops equivalent to the Beatles Of course hat was the end of an era b/c after that JMJ was killed and Run-DMC has disbanded been......

...sure we got to go the "Up In Smoke Tour" afterwards but of course it was not the same...I guess maybe if it had been NWA or some of Dre's earlier work....

I guess what Chris Rock said is true "whatever music was playing when you started having sex will always be the music close to your heart....."

I can't remember what my song was the first time..
Take 6 or a Prince song I think..It was a long time ago.:p

blumustard,
This whole conversation and the way it is falling together is so funny.....The big joke to my friends back in the day was when I made love to chicks it wouldn't be to any slow jams.... I would probably be listening to something by Public Enemy.....

"Rebel Without A Pause".....AWWWW memories...... @.@
