Revolution in Your Mind

Coming across this site, thinking about the man we all admire...do I think you're funny? Hell yeah. But the difference between you and a lot of other folks is that there's something more. Maybe it's my own ideas projected on to your vision, 'cause on the one hand, I have no idea what's in your head but...your comedy made me laugh with the characters, not at them. Or yeah, I laughed AT them, but the same way you laugh at your cousin who's got so many problems he can't keep his head on straight, but hell, he keeps trying. You took these "characters" and made them human. What you do when you humanize is revolutionary because you're forcing people to see the "other" as someone they know, someone not as other as they thought going in.
There are people who accept the status quo and then there are the other ones. I'm not sure yet where I am because hell, I get tired. Then I come across this website and think, "damn, this brotha just don't stop for nothin'" and I realize everyone's tired. But you still keep going. THAT is inspiration. Thanks...
