I am pretty new to this site and was very interested in joining along with all of Richard Pryor's fans.I am only 19 years old and he has marked his place in my heart. He has the kind of humor that can catch anyones ears and make them stop to listen. I never really got along with my father because he was in and out of jail most of my life, I never really got a chance to sit down and get to know my father on a father daughter type of relationship. All i knew about my dad was that he was a tough guy but had a weak spot for comedy. In the late 70's early 80's my father was locked up and heard Richard through some friends. A cassette tape was sent to my dad and he fell in awe over the tapes he was send. Years later now i am learning more and more about my father and his personality.. Before we got to know eachother we both met on common grounds RICHARD PRYOR.. i loved him as much as my dad did. and that made me feel much more connected to my father. Til this day we still joke around and tell "RICHARD PRYOR" jokes.. "This niggaz Crazy" is my favorite show Mr.Pryor put on .. i will never forgot how he had impacted my life and the mark he made in history for his on stage comedy.. he was and is .. no holds bar.. Funny as hell... and keeps it 100% everytime ... Thank you so much Richard.. I can't image how the tough the ordeal is that you are going through right now and i wont pretend . But just know in my eyes and many others your pressance will never be gone , you always be here.
I Love You
Clarissa
