DUMPED AND DEPRESSED
These poor dogs have been through so much. Two beautiful females were brought to the pound because their guardian died. Since being saved, they have been bumped from house to house, thinking they were finally home. Their last home starved them, and now they are back with me, spirits broken and starving. They are so sweet and mellow, and slowly but surely they will get their spunk back. They love attention and just want to lay on the couch with you (they are a little older). My dog has attacked them both and all they do is crouch down and cry. They are so sad and lonely, my heart breaks every time I think of what they have been through. They need a forever home. Wont someone consider them? They would be great for an older person or less active person.

Mako- Pointer mix, about 7-8 years old, spayed female, loves to cuddle.
Lucy-Shepherd mix, about 8-9 years old, spayed female, quiet and loves attention.
Both are up to date on shots and meds.

Please help-ask everyone you know-print these pcitures and story out and remember how sweet they are and what they have been through! Richard and I would take them but there's no room at the inn!

I could fall in love with either of them! Unfortunatly I can't have pets in my apt. You are convincing me more and more that this fall is the time to get an apt that'll let me have one. Too bad they're out in LA, my uncle in Michigan is looking for a dog (his just died.)
My sister saved a dalmation mix a couple of years back. He was found as a stray and was in the humane society. He was obviously abused (scared of even the wind), but is really a great dog so I know about these dogs that need a bit more attention.
On another doggie note my mother just told me about a funny encounter with a pit bull! It was raining and the dog ran in front of her car. She slammed on the brakes, then got out to make sure the dog was alright. He jumped in her car and was excited, wagging his tail. He had tags so she took him to the police station so they could locate his owner, the whole time showering her with kisses!
I hope your two new friends find good homes quickly...
