I am reading about an earthquake in Ca.
Was it anywhere near you or did you feel it?

I don't know if I could do what you guys do.
We have earthquakes in the Northeast but you don't know they were earthquakes until you see the news.
I do remember in the 60's I was in grade school and we had a good one where the desks slid around for about three seconds but that is the extent of my quake experience.

We had one in NYC I felt a couple of years ago. My wine glasses were clanging together for a couple of seconds. Then you hear it was an earthquake and think "Man, if I wanted this earth moving shit I'd move to the land of fruits and nuts."
