They all are....because they are ruled by ratings which in turn is ruled by advertising revenue.
The comercials are more important than the story.
Big business decides what you see on Tv and what you don't.

I was just watching Chris Mathews-not one fucking fascist repurblican on his panel---only the smart folks were on-talking about what went wrong with Kerry's campaign, how Bush won, etc...so relieved to hear a discussion and not diatribe fed to us by those right fucked up winged assholes...Prime time NBC-

The Maher show was bizarre. 1st, the Simpson interview gets uncomfortably angry suddenly, then listening to Andrew Sullivan pontificate (a gay man for Bush? go figure.....) and get incredibly defensive regarding Noam Chomsky was, well.....interesting. DL Hughley was the only thing keeping things somewhat grounded. It was an exhausting hour to watch.

I stopped watching television news of any kind after 9/11. It's really pointless, usually wrong, and bad for you.

The Al Franken Show is shown on the Sundance Channel (nothing more than the radio show with video cameras in studio).

Al Gore + various investors are moving forward toward a more liberal (think anti-Fox) news and information channel. I don't know the launch date for the network tho; it's in the startup phases....

You bring up a good point. Seems to me that if you want to send a message to F*X or *NN or anyone else for that matter, get a list of their advertisers. And send them a bunch of emails saying that not only will you boycott them and encourage others to do so, but you will openly support their competitors. I can't think of a better way to get their attention than that.
