Hey everyone. I have a question for Jennifer,,
In the here and now standup movie, there is some rare
footage in the beginning showing Richard doing standup. Ive realized that the first one is from the album "that nigger is still crazy", i dont recognize the other one.
Will these standup-acts be released on DVD in the near future?

Great job Jennifer!
Cant wait til its released. Is there any information on what this special will contain?
Im also curious of whether any of the original footage between 1971 and 1979 is available,, if the whole footage from the "that niggaz crazy" or "craps" album ever will be released..
Jennifer, I thank you dearly for the great work youre doing!

kwicki,
Actually the footage of Richard (both stand-up and interview) that is at the beginning of the "Here And Now" film was shot in the Comedy Store (Hollywood, CA) in June, 1983--two months before the main part of the flick was shot in New Orleans.

Jennifer,
I was merely curious if any standups were taped during 1971-1979, when Richard according to me was in his prime.. he released all those albums during this time (Craps, that niggaz crazy, that niggaz still crazy etc..).
Ive tried to find some info on what this new dvd thats coming out on november will contain, ive realized that some will contain other performers comments and also some poems (Mos Def).. im more interested in knowing if there will be footage from Richards standups during 1971-1979.
