I FUCKING DID IT!!!!! I DID STAND UP!!!!!!!!!

I'm still at the coffee shop that I did it at, but hey, I did it! I got laughs in the crowds, and I saw smiling faces throughout my set. I'm on that performing high. I got a grinning "not bad!!" from the open mic guy...which I don't exactly know how to take that, but whatever...I finally did it!!!

Way to go, Haze!!!!! See now you're hooked, aren't you? Stand up is so addictive! I'll never forget my first time. I too did well. So well, in fact, I got the big head. The next time I went up, though, was a much more humbling experience. But it was too late. The die had been cast. I was irrevoccably infected with the comedy bug. So are you..

It's very addicting! Probably the most relaxing of anything in the performing world...in a weird, excited kinda way. Just to stand up there talking. The whole rooms concentrating on what you are saying. Smiling faces and laughter, because of something YOU wrote and thought up.

I think it's probably one of the most selfish of all performing outlets...That stage is MINE, bitch! Even if I started dying, I think I would have felt that territorial thing. Know what I mean?

I just would have hated it had I died...I was going through that whole 5 minutes, whether it was good or not!
