Just a Simple Question

Why do Middle Eastern men wear turbins?
I figured in the dessert, it kept the hot sun from their heads but they wear them in this country too.
This is not a joke...I just want to know.
Is it for religous reasons or does it have to do with certain customs or nationalities.
I really just want to know.

Thanks Big D...The question came from the fact that I did see some Middle Eastern men entering a strip club wearing turbins and I wasn't sure of the religeous implications.

Hey when it comes to men it's always about T&A, this time just happened to be in reference to Turbins and Allah.

Turbins are for there religous reasons and the fact that there hair is normaly longer than the womens. well what my east indian friends tell me.

This strip club, I mentioned, is a stones throw from some LNG storrage tanks in Everett Mass.
Distrigas is the name I think.
It happened a while ago and I called the "FBI" whether they followed up on it, I can only hope.
