when playin to different rooms... do you find you change the the way you tell your jokes? tell different jokes? or do nothing different from your usual act?


ie: would you change the way you talked in an all latino, or black room? just as an example....


im just curious how others adjust to their adience... or if they dont adjust at all.

Hey - I've always felt that comedy is a dialogue, not a monologue. With any dialogue there's a give and take, so each new audience brings in their emotions, and you feed off of it.

yeah... i was kinda hoping to hear that answer... not a "be true to yourself always" kind of thing. i see a relationship formed with an audience... and when i am talkin to my black friends... i talk different than when i am talkin to my white friends... i dont see why this would be much different.

im not sayin i will get all super jive around brothers or nuthin... but i think you know what i mean.
