deepseas,
Thanks for everything! So far, my WHORE-GASM tour has been a blast. I started off at the Watts Tower, then from there I played the Malaga Public Library's Book sale in Palo Verdes, the next night it was off to the Albertson's on Miranda in Long Beach and finally I finished up the tour by doing stand-up at TMIC's star in Hollywood! God, I need a manager!!!! I plan on going back to the star today.....I did 3 minutes last time. Next, I'll try and push for 4....it's exhilarating! T

jane_haze,
I actually voted, and twice I think. didn't hear anything first time, could have been phone. but then I called back and pretty cool because you hear Ty's voice thanking for vote.
I ain't hear all he said, I had to be a nigga

and hangup on him while mumbling "yeah, wha-EVA"

(had to get going

) ;p
I do hope he wins though.

tamra,
Josh Blue won. But given the two sets delivered that night, he probably deserved to win. Love Ty. He's an infinitely better comedian than I'll ever be. But it seemed like he was a little off his game....

mojones,
I just heard today that Josh Blue won

I was so sure Ty would win. I voted for Ty last week even though the Chris guy had a better set. overall Ty was funnier.
I just don't think Josh is funny. he's certainly different, but I haven't laughed at any of his jokes, they're too predictable. but his win was a great boost for persons w/limitations, kind of a barrier breaker.
and I'm sure Ty will be successful.

jane_haze,
Well it's all about marketing from the very beginning. Even auditions. Bill Dwyer? The man doesn't need that show. So it's all about management. And remember what jane said about editing. What ever they edit, THATS what the tv voting audience will see.

I haven't seen Ty Barnett perform in three years... he's been writing his ass off!!!! I was impressed.
I'm happiest for Chris Porter, he is one of the funniest comics I've ever seen. I've seen that guy middle in front of headliners that didn't deserve to open for him. He truly "road dogged" it. The last time I saw him, he did a Sunday night in Indianapolis, had to drive to Kansas City for a one nighter, then back across to Ohio the next day.
The life of a Road Comic in the midwest...
I love when any comic "gets out his car"... Good for him, good for all of them.

robfharris, I only caught one or two episodes of this, but I agree with you, this show will give road warriors who have been busting their asses for years a way out of the grind. I'm happy for Josh Blue, that's a insperational story if ever there was one.
