^5!! high fiving that big time! because that should be the real deal in his world. hell he'd be the janitor AT THE SAME SCHOOL he got kicked out from w/advice to suck up all the knowledge he could. and shoot, when it came time for the "Black.White" filming, would have found a child actor and told him, "sorry, only kids who are in school can play my son on TV".

I was like he got kicked out AND bought a 150.00 watch?! that's a reality show right there.

but Rose is hella cool. she asked the questions straight up. and then her comments were "hey he fits the stereotype, inarticulate, uneducated, rap music, baggy pants and proud of it", same thing older generation blacks would say.

yup, this one was definitely worth seeing. esp. since the black father said he should have brought the neighbor's kid you ain't never lying because that boy is clueless.

but it was cool seeing Carmen and Rose return to their own neighborhood and experience a cold shoulder, including when looking for work.

well you can catch it again tonight. I forgot the time - I think it's 10EST/7PST, but the schedule's on the FX network site.

I have to amit I'm totaly crushing on Rose she's smart pretty and level headed down too earth. No joke she is such a sweetie. I'm a sucker for a sweet heart.



I havent learned anything from the show everything I expected to happen has happend Rose's parents pretty much fit the white higher middle class mold but that Rose is a keeper.

yeah, Rose is the bomb! I know she doesn't care for slang too much.

but she truly is a really genuine person. now to get 58 million more like her to show up on election day!

but funny, she's really cute as a black female. in her black makeup she looks almost identical to one of my cousins.

ok Renee's makeup is jacked. she does not look like a white woman. she looks like a fair-skinned black woman. so in tonight's show, her dialect is probably why people are looking at her and wondering what she is: black or white?

oh well....I applaud the show's attempt, but it was no major breakthrough for those of us on the other side of the tube.
