Well I think that the best driver that has ever lived was Dale Earnhardt SR. and I think that he will always be the intimadator but I would have to say that now i root for tony stewart and Dale Earnhardt JR.

Yes MOST nascar fans are good people but every once in a while you'll see some ignotrant hick flying his rebel flag and that shit makes me sick to my gut. And thats the kinda shit thats keeping people from other walks of life freom getting into Nascar!

Well all this stuff yall are talking is over my head.I only recently watched "Days Of the Thunder" and it wasn't bad. But I also liked the Kenny Rogers movie from back in the days called "Six Pack".

I can't get into car racing because I see no point in watching cars drive in a circle repeatedly. WHen there is a crash that sends the cars into the stands killing 20, now that's entertainment!

Horse racing wins over cars any day. A horse in full stride is a beautiful thing. A redneck waering a bunch of patches advertizing shit, talkin bout how he drove past someone does noting for me. Remember, the gas that goes into their tanks was purchased from people who would like to behead us...

You see people dont understand the talent that goes behind Nascar racing. I mean there is tones of talent in the driver for him being able to hold a car while going around a turn at 190 MPH. The pit crew for being able to change 4 tires, fill up the gas tank, and even clean the windshield in only 12 seconds. Oh and the design and creativity to make a car that can withstand going 190 MPH without the car being torn to shreds. People need a lot of talent and skill to race in Nascar.
Now in horse racing the horse has a 90 pound midgit on his back and is getting hit on the ass with a whip. The horse is doing the only thing that is coming to his head at the moment and that is to run like hell to get away from the whip. Now how does that have any skill or talent in it.

I see from your reply that there is no point in trying to discuss what "talent" is. Try riding a horse. I can't handle it due to my back.

To say there is no talent in horse racing is like saying there is no talent in swimming. It's an olympic event, but all thay are doing is what comes natural when you're in the water. Or running: all they are doing it trying to go from one place to another, but quickly!

All I can say is that you have shown me the light. I am now extremely proud of all these amatuer athletes I see on the highway in their Toyota's and Chevy's. I think if I ever see a man change oil, I may cry for the beauty of it. Come to think of it, my daddy drove him an automobile. I guess that dun qualifies me to do it too!

I can't wait until the gas tank of the world runs empty...
