99.9% of the urban people in LA smoke weed.

Therefore, I think, in their minds, it is legal.

& if thepolice stop you and see weed in the car, all you are going to get is a ticket.

no poo, I got friends in kansas doing hard time for no more than a seed found in their ride while true scumbags get a slap on the hand for destroying peoples lives. I'm thinking Colorado since I qualify for med purposes an I got that green thumb anyhoo, well the forefingers a bit green too but I can still grow some gooood shit.

did you check out this documentary narrated by Woody Harrelson, Hempsters: Plant the Seed or Grass, I can't remember which one (see it does mess with your memory

), which pointed out a man who was sent to prison for 30 years for possessing one joint after returning home from the Vietnam War. that's just ridiculous, and there's no way this man can get those years back.

maybe we can create a new 51st state and make it legal to grow and use and not worthy of spending tax dollars going after recreational users. ;p because I can think of more serious things to spend money on.

I personally don't like to see cancer and terminally sick/ill patients suffering when something as simple as a joint will give them a life.

they should just legalise everything! Open up shops & cafes where people can go and get fucked up if they wanna. The current situation isn't working, it just criminalises everybody (some more than others, I must admit)

I was loving this episode of weeds when the dealer discovers a legal weed shop. lollipops, muffins, and all types of quality non-harmful brands of weed. I was thinking these shops need to be as popular as Starbucks in every major city.

imagine if we could hand those lollipops and muffins out on capital hill. lawdy. some may start to see the light.

In Amsterdam, they got bars and cafes where you can smoke 'til you choke, they got a hemp museum that shows all the benefits of weed. Now Amsterdam sure as hell doesn't have as bad a drug-problem as London. Over here they've tried tough policing and soft policing but you still see dealers everywhere.

Open up some national retail outfits "McWeedies" or "Coca-King" that sell the high grade sh*t and let the "free market economics" clear all the dealers off the street. Who the fuck is gonna risk copping a shit-stained crack rock from some dodgy guy on the corner when they can get one free with a Happy meal!!?!!

yes I know alllll about Amsterdam

even though it was a required stop for certain trips to Europe, it was a welcome stop that I took advantage of.

which continually makes me wonder why, oh why, can't we get our shit together here and focus on real priorities. because if it's free and safe, you've just eliminated the crusty drug dealers killing off folks to be the biggest seller.

I'm not for legalizing the other stuff. that's some dangerous territory for the buyer and seller.

I don't know, sometimes I just get pissed off with seeing too many idiots on the street. If everything was legal, then they'd be outta business. This is obviously a line of reasoning that i haven't completely thought thru, but I sometimes wonder how complete legalisation would affect the world in which we live.

I havn't seen it but I'll check it out asap. I remember when my cuz came back from his overseas tour in 74, he told me to dump his duffle bag out so gma would wash his clothes when she came home for lunch (typical) I got the wrong duffle and was standing by the washer ankle deep in thai stick.

My brother brought me to Yankee Stadium back in 1978, the day the cover of the Daily News read "Pot Decriminalized"
If you were found to have 7/8th of an ounce or less , you would be Ticketed , but not brought downtown and booked ,in NY. Somebody realized then , that the Police have more important issues to persue and enforce .
Adults should have the right to indulge if they so desire , But the last thing I want is the government to have anything to so with it they'd just fuck it up . like everything else they try to manage,
Have any of read the laws regarding the Pot Tax Stamps ,first they say you have to buy them and affix them to weed you own.But they also , by themselves are concidered parafinalia ,and give the fuzz the right to search your ass.
