I saw Jay in his last tour , about 2 months before He was killed (Oct. 2002). Run DMC was on tour opening for Kid Rock, and AEROSMITH.

Yeah I met him after a show in about 2000 and got an autographed shirt and even pushed my demo @.@on JMJ.He was down to earth and even after the show came and hung out at another venue and was real easy to talk too....... it was like losing a Beatle for us hip hop fans......
