Jennifer has expressed her faith in you. WOW JANE, how about that for support? It doesnt' get much better than that. But I'd be a little reluctant about posting mp3's this soon. Don't misundertand. I'm sure your set was every bit as phenomenal as you are. But having the Pryors listen to your routine is like having Jesus Christ and the Pope critique your sermon...LOL. On the serious tip, keep up the good work and keep us up to date on your progression...

I bet Mr. P is a tough audience. When it comes to comedy, he's done it all. There's no element of surprise left for him. No punchline to a joke that he doesn't see a mile away. No crazy turn that isn't obvious to his intellect. He's the Nostradamus of stand up!If I was on a showcase and the Pryors walk in the club, I'd haul ass....but hey, I'm insecure like that....

To reply to that mp3 stuff. If and when I get comfortable enough with my set to the point I know it's good enough for other people to hear in a non-performance setting, than I'll post one, but not until that happens. It'll be a while before I think I'm the shit and good enough to share myself with you. Don't worry about that. Baby steps.

In other news, I'm getting stand up connections in Fairbanks. They're gonna start up some local show, regularly, and I'll try my darndest to be apart of it...even if I am underage... how did Bill Hicks do it at age 14?!

That's fantastic news Jane! How did Bill Hicks do it at 14? Passion! You have it too, so you shouldn't trip over it. You'll succeed! You have any comedy buddies? Someone you can bounce ideas off of? It would be nice to have your own Dwight Slade....

Passion? I've thought of it more of a burning desire, really. Do you really get a "passion" vibe from me, or are you just being nice.

And no, I really don't have any comedy, dwight slade, type buddies. I've got a very judgemental, "that's not funny" sayin' sister. She's not always right. Mostly, she's bored. But she is my wall and that's better than nothing.
