I wanted my first post to be a big Thank You Richard Pryor for all the laughs.

I still have fond memories of sitting by my old ass portable record player, playing Rich's records real low so that my Momma wouldn't beat my ass for listening to the "devil"

Between you and Mel Brooks, I learned to laugh and not take life so serious.

Thank you Richard Pryor for being my Comedy Father on another level and get better soon. This world just can't exist without Richard Pryor.

I'd like to say thanks to Richard for being real. He is the best. My oldest brother used to let me listen to his Richard Pryor albums when I was a little girl. My brother passed away 9 years ago but, I am so thankful to him for letting me listen even though I wasn't supposed to. Richard is the greatest comedian alive. There will never be another Richard Pryor. Many try to get what he has, but you can't copy a gift from God.
