Politics, religion, racism, sex, the weather... there's always lots to think about so there's always lots to talk about. Progressive ideas are encouraged but all opinions are welcome.
Yeah. I heard about this the other day. Makes me sick. If I was campaigning and was in the same position, I would have asked that she be led to where I was. I would let her speak, and I would apologize to her for her loss. But then I agree with her and value the opinion of a woman who lost her son...
As for her son having chose to go to that war, I don't think that too many of the soldiers were looking to actually go to Iraq when they signed up. If people were actually choosing to go to that war, you wouldn't see all those ads on TV for the army and the national guard. Once you sign up for the military, even in times of peace, you lose your right to make a choice to go to war. You are at the beck and call of whomever the commander in cheif is. Even if he's a fucking asshole son of a bitch bastard motherfucking coward piece of shit.
JTF,
I don't understand some people.....the world is going crazy.
Did you read my post "We Want You" in this forum.
Something's got to give....the people have to wake up before November.
astonamous,
I am not sure that kid knew he was going to Iraq when he joined the military.
I remember in olden days, someone would join the Army to keep from going to prison.
I wonder if today the choice would be prison
