Sometimes i get to thinking
that my mind has started drinking
and im kicking on the door
cos i wont take it any more
when you wanna get out of there
and all the turmoil starts to wear
so thin that were it ice it'd break
ive nothing else for you to take
but my soul you cant deny
the bottomless chasm in my eyes
perhaps these eyes which are so sallow
are just a refuge for the shallow
but thats where i'll be uncomfortably
dont come a knocking just leave me be
