Helped a Kitty Out

Post by dougdigitalpro »

I don't get over here much but last week I was at my mother's house and as I was leaving there was a cat hanging out in the backyard and I thought like most cats do, she would take off, but she didn't and I called her over and she came and rubbed up against me being real friendly. I think she may have been pregnant because her tummy was kinda big, but she looked clean and didn't seem like an alley cat. I think she may have belonged to the people across the street but I wasn't sure. So, I sat on the porch with her for a little while and let her hang out and rest and she was really cool. I even gave her some milk to drink. I felt bad because I had to leave and I can't keep animals in my building or else I probably would've taken her in.(I love cats!) But when I got in the car to leave she followed me all the way to the door and then when I closed it, she just casually walked over to the people's house across the street and disappeared around the corner to their backyard. But as I was feeding her, it made me think of was Mrs. P and how you guys talk about how good it makes you feels to help a pet out like that.
Now I know.
I hope I see that kitty again. She was really cool. :)
I guess that's my animal story for the week.(Maybe the year, since I don't get around them much. ;p )

Jennifer,
I will.
It's funny. I've been looking for her to pop up ever since. :)
