Peamutt Butter Biscuits

2 tablespoons of corn oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup water
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oil, peanut butter and water. Add flour, one cup at a time, then knead into firm dough.

Roll dough to 1/4" thickness and cut with cookie cutter - find one shaped like a bone or dog or cat!

Place an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 2 & 1/2 dozen.

Jennifer,

I've got more but didn't know if anyone would want them. The cool thing is you know exactly what goes into them. Not of the questionable fillers and stuff.

JTF,

Of course people can eat them! Just look at those wholesome ingredients! Of course, I recommend traditional cookies for humans - they're sweeter. The cookies, not the humans.

Jennifer,

Please do let me know if your clan likes them - peanut butter's the favorite around here. And if you want to try more, there's bark-b-que, veggie delight, etc.
:) :D ;) :p

Jennifer and Trudy,

I'm adding the Bark-B-Q recipe tonight plus a list of all I have so you can see what you might want. My dogs love them all. If they don't the first time around, just increase the amount of an ingredient they like in the recipe. Okay, here goes ...

Bark-B-Q Biscuits

2 and 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cornmeal
1/2 cup wheatgerm
1/2 cup barbeque sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoons corn oil
1 egg
1/2 cup water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine dry ingredients.
In a seperate bowl, mix honey, oil, egg, water and barbeque sause.
Add to dry ingredients.
Roll dough to 1/4" thick, cut with cookie cutter, and place on ungreased coookie sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Makes 2 and 1/2 dozen biscuits.
