CLEAN UP PET FOOD

How to get active:

Contact your state’s congress members to share your concerns about this unregulated industry and ask that legislation be enacted to assure quality control for ingredients.

Write or e-mail the particular pet food company you use to tell it you will no longer buy its product unless it meets human-grade specifications.

Many pet food companies send representatives to dog and cat shows. Seek them out to state your concerns. If enough people take the time to write or talk to these people we will see changes.

P.S. I HAVE WRITTEN TO OUR BIG SHITS REGARDING A MULTITUDE OF ANIMAL ISSUES AND CONCERNS...I'VE RECEIVED A FEW LETTERS BACK THAT JUST PISSED ME OFF! THEY CLAIMED HORSES WERE NOT GOING TO BE SLAUGHTERED OR USED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION YET HERE'S WHAT'S REALLY UP:
In 2005, after a tremendous public outcry, Congress overwhelmingly passed an appropriations bill that effectively stopped horse slaughter for fiscal year 2006 by cutting funding for USDA inspections of plants that slaughter horses. Now, in a move that flies directly in the face of that Congressional mandate, the USDA is considering a petition submitted by the three foreign-owned plants that slaughter horses in the United States to allow for the continuation of horse slaughter in this country!

Contact U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns today and urge him to deny the petition and carry out the will of Congress! Click here to send a letter to Mr. Johanns.

SO, I JUST WROTE TO MR. JOHANNS AND I HOPE Y'ALL WILL......
