What can I do in the OC/LA Area?

Hey all,

Moved back to Orange County CA recently, stumbled upon this site. What rescue organizations are there in the OC/LA area that could use some help? Where can I do the most good? I can not personally adopt an animal right now, but I have some time I can volunteer.

Thanks! But, I don't think I'm set up to recieve email (I know I didn't get anything.) Would you mind trying meigren@gmail.com, or a private message on the forum?

I'm afraid I don't know exactly how rescuing works. My impression was that it typically involved adopting the dog, which wouldn't sit too well with my landlord.
