This site is a direct link to contacting the Bureau of Land Management
and
letting them know you oppose next months rounding up of wild horses and
burros
on PUBLIC LANDS and selling them to slaughter. The site is not a horror
show,
but clearly shows the peril of the wild horses and how you can help
them. The
BLM is sensitive to public demands and has disobeyed orders from the
Federal
Government in the past regarding the destruction of these beautiful
creatures.
The recent bill signed by....sigh...Mr. Bush to support the cattle
industry
that wants the land for grazing, is a death knell for these horses only
if you
allow it to happen. Please pass this website address to other e mail
friends and
families and ask them to do the same.
You can also e mail the President from this site if you think it will
do any
good ( I didn't because I don't ) . However, e mailing the BLM is the
most
expedient way of altering this policy. The window of time is short. Do
it now.
